I admit the damage is real. But would you really attribute all that damage to him? If anything, Gary has by miles helped more than do harm because at the core of everything he’s saying — sift through the cursing, the controversial comments and the ‘work till your eyes bleed’ themes— you’ll find what Garyvee wants all of us to have, self awareness; telling us to find ourselves and do what we really love. And to me, it’s crystal clear. I’ve never misinterpreted that bit the whole time I’ve been following the dude.

As I’ve mentioned earlier though, I do believe that what you call ‘Struggle Porn’ is very real and is an unfortunate repercussion of Garyvee’s steady rise to fame. I just don’t think it’s right to solely blame it on the man. At the end of the day, it’s really just people not understanding his words completely.
